Mornings Out: Elizabeth Street Garden
June 4, 2016 § Leave a comment
If you’re looking for ways to spend a morning in the city, consider visiting the Elizabeth Street Garden tucked in Nolita. It is the perfect oasis between shopping and brunching. Bring a blanket and spend an hour reading (conveniently located near McNally Johnson, if you’re empty handed) underneath a trees or quickly stroll through the .46 acres of green space if you’re pressed for time.
New York City parks and gardens are magical in the summer, but it’s little ones like these that make turning a corner on a crowded neighborhood incredibly rewarding.
The garden offers various events throughout the week and weekend, which you can read about here. Unfortunately, housing construction plans are a threat, but by signing this letter and spreading the news you can make a difference.
What is your favorite way to spend a Saturday morning? Any favorite parks? Let me know.
Now get out there! It’s summer.
Morning Snow

It snowed on Friday morning, and by three o’clock it had completely melted. For my first winter in NY– it has been a bit underwhelming. A couple big snows, a couple cold V COLD weekends, but overall not too bad. Here are some photos from a beautiful snowday in February. Bliss.
